Absence letter SET(o)

Hi all,
I came to the UK on Jan 2014 and planning apply for my ILR in the next month.
I have all the paperwork ready, almost.
My company HR is refusing to provide confirmation of absences anytime prior to 2017. They say only last 2 years of data is available in the system.
How shall I proceed in this case? Do I provide a cover letter citing this reason?
Also, all our payslips are online. Is that okay or do i have to get that signed by HR too? I am almost certain that they wont bother heeding my request to sign/seal my payslips, so wondering if online payslips would be okay.
They have been really unhelpful and it took a lot of to and fro to get the employment letter in the first place.
Thanks all.

If you can get them to confirm that all your absence from work were all approved by them, they do NOT need to mention them specifically.

This is interesting. So, the letter doesn't need to specify dates, is that right? If yes, then that should be doable.
UK Absences - ILR Set(O)

Hi all,
I arrived in the UK in Jan 2014 and is planning to submit my Set(O) application next week.
Some context..
I have finally received UK absence letters from my HR. For some reason they gave 5 letters, one for each year, mentioning my annual holidays for that year. I had asked for confirmation only for dates i was outside uk, but this is what they decided to give me. They just won't give the format i requested.
So, I am planning to include a cover letter mentioning only UK absence dates and cross reference that to the letters mentioned earlier.
Of the absences, 1 day was taken as time off in lieu of overtime, which is not mentioned in the letters.
My plan is to cite this in the cover letter, and include payslip for that month (and one previous for comparison). This proves i was paid in full.
Could this cause problems? And is there anything more I could do?

As long as they cover all the absence from the UK you are fine. It does not need to be specific even

Thats the problem. The letter from employer doesn't cover all the absences. It only covers my annual holidays and not the 1 day against time off in lieu.

Mention the one day in your cover letter but that can’t ever be a problem
