Hello,

I submitted online application on 19th Jan, biometric from Birmigham on 26-Jan (Sat) at 10am.

The case worker on next working day (i.e. Mon 4pm) that Life in UK test result missing so my solicitor sent the document within 10-15 min.

I have been waiting to hear positive news but even today i.e. Fri no news.

My solicitor has spoken with case worker 3 times and case worker has been saying, he was asked to do some other work that delays decision on my case.

Has anyone experience this situation ?

Should I go head-on with case worker or escalate to its management

So you screwed up the documentation that needed to be supplied and you want to escalate?

Try to be nice to the case worker when dealing with them and wait patiently.

It might take up tom6 moknths now from date of application.

All mandatory documents were uploaded to Sopra Steria site including Life in UK test result. In addition, at the time of biometric, Sopra Steria staff too verified all required documents were uploaded. Later they made submission of documents uploaded and biometric.

Well if they accidentally missed out the documents uploaded then that is an administrative issue and you have the right to escalate.

But you cannot speed them up, they will offer to give you a refund thats all.
