Hi All,
Really appreciate the help you all are offering!
-Myself and my wife came in UK Jan 2013 on T2 General.
-Feb 2014 to Nov 2014 my wife was away in Sydney for her higher studies.
-March 2016 we both got our Visa extended till May 2019
-Feb 2018 I got my ILR with my 5 year continues stay on T2 General main applicant.
-My wife's still on PBS Dependent for my T2 General which is going to expire in May 2019
Can you advise best way for her to get ILR/Settlement please?
Is she eligible for ILR now in 5 year route as she was away 10 months considering she still had Visa for continues 5 years!?
Is it best to get her T2 General PBS dependent Visa extended now and apply for ILR later?
Thanks in advance!
Kind Regards
Rahul

There is no absence limit for PBS dependents whose visas were issued before 11th January 2018.
If she been a PBS dependent sinc Jan 2013, she could have applied for ILR ages ago when you did.

Thank you so much CR001 for the quick clarification.
1. She is yet to clear her Life in UK test, hope to get that soon . Booked for 25th Feb earliest we could get.
Can I still go ahead with the application and book an appointment date before passing Life in UK?
Application was asking "Have you passed the Life in the UK test? " so was not sure if I can select "yes" without really passing it first!
2. Also we do't have any "Home Office reference number" for any of our previous applications , can this be an issue?
Many Thanks
Rahul

You can only apply online when she is ready and has done the test.
Appointments at the new service are not hard to get.
HO ref is the brp ard number.

------------------
Do you have any Home Office reference numbers? (Required)
If you have previously made an application to remain in the UK, you can find a reference number on letters from the Home Office, called 'Our Ref' or 'Case ID'. If not known, select 'No'.
-----------------
Above is the question . They have a separate question for BRP Ref number !
Many Thanks

Hi,
Online application asking for below documentation. Can you suggest this is good enough or any more supporting documents needed please?
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Mandatory documents
1. The passport
Other documents
2. Consent form for the Home Office to request verification check for joint accounts or third party support
3. The degree certificate to prove the level of English language required
4. Evidence immigration status in the UK
5. Declaration signedto confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks
6. NARIC letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK
7. Current Biometric Residence Permit
--------------------------------------------------------------------
For 6 We have got NARIC Visa and Nationalityu certificate.
For 4 and 7 will submit Current T2 General Dependent BRP card.
Passport and consent letters will submit as appropriate.
Do you suggest any more documents for Dependant IRL like bank statement or salary-slips for me or my wife?
Kind Regards
