Hi,
This is my first request on this forum. Hope someone will help me to get out these queries.
I was in Tier 1 (Entrepreneur ) since 2013, I have received my ILR on 10 years Long residence category on 19/02/2019.
My two dependent on PBS dependent visa on Tier 1 (Entrepreneur), Their current leave going to expire on 23/04/2019.They already have completed their 5 years as a dependent. They will be eligible for 10 years long routes on 12/09/2019. They are 4 and half months short for 10-year Long residency route.
My questions are,
Can My dependent apply for ILR on their current Leave as Tier 1 (Entrepreneur ) Dependent as I already moved to the new category?
Is Current Leave still valid till 23/04/2019 or they need to apply to change their visa category?
How quick they need to change their leave category?
If they need to change their visa category which category will be best for them and cost-effective?
Thank you for your help in advance

No, they cannot apply for ILR based on tier 1 ent dependents as you got ILR in long residence and not pbs dependent route.
They should apply for FLR M spousr/child visa before their current visas expire. Spouse needs English A1 and you need to meet the financial requirement. Ihs is £1,000 per person plus visa fee.

Hi,
My wife is a Doctor. She scored 7 in Academic IELTS.Does she need English A1?
Also, what do you think about FLR (FP) route instead of FLR (M) as £22400 financial requirements are not ready? Can she apply FLR(FP)?

She needs to submit an IELTS test that is on the CURRENT list of a tests and test providers issued by HO.
If she is a doctor, does she not earn the level required for the financial requirement???

She needs the English test that on the HO approved list.
If you do not meet the financial requirements, she should apply FLR(FP). There is no guarantee of success thought and these applications can sometimes take many months.

Hi,
Hope everyone is fine. I have a question regarding variation.
My wife and elder son was on my dependent and I have granted ILR I Last February. their Tier 1 entrepreneur dependent visa expired on 23/04/2019, we applied for FLR(FP), no decision yet as we delayed the biometrics and biometrics going to be on 05/09/2019. They will be eligible for ILR on long residency after 11/09/2019. ( They came in this country (09/10/2009).
Could you please tell me how we can apply FLR LR and vary the application. When we apply through online there is no option to declare that we have another application pending.
Do I need to write them in forwarding letter or they will automatically get informed when FLR (LR) applied?
How we will get a refund for visa fees and IHS for a previous application?
It will be much appreciated if you answer these questions.
Regards

You apply for an application as normal and attach a covering letter explaining that this application is a variation of the previous one

Hi Zimba, Thank you for your quick response. Do you have any idea how long it takes to get the decision for FLR (FP). will they hold my previous application until my FLR(LR) documents submission and biometrics?

Hi Everyone,
There is Good news for us to share with you. My wife and son applied for FLR (FP) in april and they had nearly 5 months gap for their 10 years ILR application. We delayed their BIO metric near Four and half months. Finally They went for Bio metirc in 5th September and we applied for vary in 11th September and received ILR in 21/09.
Thank you for your help.
could you please tell me can my 10 years old son apply for his naturalization now or he need to wait 1 year before he apply?
How long it takes normally to get the refund for the FLP(FP) application and IHS fees?
Thank you in advance

Presumably the child is born abroad?? The child will only qualify for citizenship when either parent is also applying or is already British.
