Late Update of SMS

Hi,
My husband is on Tier 2 visa, before that he was on Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa. His ilr is due now. We are about to submit the ILR application but we came to know that the sms has not been updated yet. He received an increase in salary on Jan 18. We have asked the employer to update the sms now. Will that be an issue for applying ILR as in what could be the repercussions. Anyone who has experienced this before?

Hi,
No. He is the only one who got the rise that time and he is the only one in the company who is on Tier 2 visa.
Regards,

And let me guess the rise took him to the ILR threshold limit.... expect a visit to the Sponsor and more than likely a delay in the ILR decision.
What you have described is a known abuse trend and there is every possibility that the Sponsor will lose their licence...
The move from Tier 1 Ent to Tier 2 also rings alarm bells and I will take a punt in that it was a PSW £50k route and the investment funds could not be met...
Everything points to a well path of immigration abuse, good luck you are going to need it.

Hi Sap001
Has your husband made his ILR application? How did it go? I am kind of in the same boat so your experience will be helpful.
Thanks.
