Hi,
I got Tier 2 visa in January 2014. My sponsor licence was revoked in July 2015 that and I received the curtailment letter on October 2015.

I was preparing Tier 1 visa and thus I submitted FLR (O) in December 2015.

While the FLR (O) application was under process, I submitted Tier 1 Application in January 2016 ( and withdrew my FLR (O) application). My Tier 1 application was approved in March 2016.

I want to apply to ILR as I have completed 5 years on Tier 1 and Tier 2 visas. I have received mixed opinions from my friends.

Did my FLR (O) application break the continuity?

If I qualify, can i apply 28 days before completing qualifying 5 years?

Thanks for reading my question. Kindly assist me what should I do?

Length of time in the United Kingdom needed to qualify – settlement
You cannot combine Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave with leave in any other category to meet the
continuous leave requirement

Thanks for your reply.
But the Tier 2 visa holder can combine period spent under Tier 1.

Please have a look at

This is bit confusing.

You cannot combine the time spent under Tier 2 towards your ILR under Tier 1E route.
You can combine the time under Tier 1 and Tier 2 together if and only if you are applying for ILR under Tier 2.
So in a nutshell, time spent under Tier 1 counts if you want to apply for ILR under Tier 2 but NOT the other way around. You need 5 years under Tier 1E route to be eligible for ILR
