Hi CR001,

Just want to make it confirm as she had a long gap( more than 6 months) in between employments and also for being made redundant though we did not received ant curtailment letter from HO.

We believe there won`t be any issues for her eligibility but just a confusion.

Can you please advice ?

Thanks

Kumar

There is no longer a 60 days employment gap rule. It was removed over a year ago.

Many Thanks CR001,

Just a final question :

Indefinite Leave to Remain for Tier 2 Visa Holders:

Before the recent changes, tier 2 visa holders with more than a 60 day gap between job roles prevented Tier 2 Visa holders from meeting the criteria to apply for indefinite leave to remain ILR after five years.
However, under the new rules, Tier 2 Visa holders with more than 60 days between Tier 2 job roles may still be eligible for ILR when they have served five-continuous years of employment.

However it says Tier 2 visa holders with more than 60 days are eligible for ILR but in the end of the statement it says five -continuous year of employment .if there is gap how can it be continuous employment.

It would be great help if u clarify this please.

Thanks again

Kumar

There is not 'gap' rule. You are overthinking.
