ILR application ask for help

Dear All,
I will be grateful if you can help to answer my questions here. I am about to apply for ILR next month following my 4 years of T2 working visa.
1. I understand that there is a new system of application since Nov 2018. Is the one day service restored? If so, how many days in advance should I make an appointment?
2. My wife and I are working in London (both T2 visa but she needs a few more years to qualify for 5 years), while my daughter (9 month) is in China. When I apply for ILR, can I submit my applications with my daughter together despite the fact that she is not in the UK at the moment? If not, can she apply from China after I get it? Will the cost of application become higher due to separate applications?
Suggestions and advice will be welcome.
Best
M.

You will be offered a priority service for a fee but there is no same day service

You cannot apply for ILR if you are outside the UK. Where was your daughter born ?

Thanks for the helpful comments. My kid is born in China and now stays in China. I want to bring her to the UK but wondering whether she can apply for ILR with me together. Or perhaps, I need to get my ILR first, bring her here with a dependent visa and then apply for ILR for her.

A child born outside the UK will follow the immigration path of the less privileged parent. This means for a child born outside the UK, both parents must hold ILR for that child to be granted ILR. After you are granted ILR, your daughter will follow the immigration path of her mother under PBS dependant visa. She can get ILR when your wife is granted ILR.
Apply for PBS dependant visa for your daughter.

I am concerned that if I do not apply with my daughter for ILR. She will have to wait for 5 years.
The information that I got from other sources says "Where one or both parents hold ILR, children under 18 can apply for ILR irrespective of their time in the UK. If your children are on dependant visas, they will need to apply for ILR at the same time as you. Failure to do so will result in them losing their dependant visa status and critically, they would have to wait five years before they become eligible for ILR."

If both parents hold ILR, then the child still applies for a child settlement visa and should be granted indefinite leave to enter, which is similar to ILR within the UK.
