Dear All,

Please forgive my ignorance again. can you please clarify the doubt as below?

Can a person who applied for ILR leave the Uk while his/her application is being processed and do they get their passport to do the same. And would the application be processed even if they had to travel outside UK after the application?

Many thanks.

No you cannot travel out of the UK. If you do, your application will be treated as withdrawn and your Section 3C (if applicable) ceases and if your previous visa has expired, you won't be able to re-enter the UK.

No you can't as your ILR will be treated as withdrawn if you leave the UK.

How can you have a visa valid till 2020 if you already have 5 years on Tier 2?? What date was your first tier 2 issued?? You cannot hold tier 2 general for more than 6 years.

Hello all,

For ILR application evidence, do i need to submit air tickets for travel on annual leaves i have taken or the stamp for the passport is enough? Do i need to give any other evidence? As far as the duration in concerned none had exceeded the 3 week limit.

Regards

Period of absence letters

Dear ALL,

Would like to know about the absence period letter requirement for the ILR as i am planning to apply for my ILR in 2019 June.

My understanding for ILR application is if i submit the passport it will have my entry and exit dates from UK won't it be enough to suffice that i had been away only those days. I have changed five employers in the past five years. Please let me know sooner, as this will need a lot of time to get individual letter form each organization. Your help and suggestions much appreciated.

Regards,

Sachin

ILR Tier 2 online document submission what is not needed?
Hi Everyone, Sorry i am not able to post this in my old thread the system says this is a SPAM! Message trust me its Genuine....

Looking at your previous posts in this forum for the Tier 2 ILR application document checklist, i think i am overdoing the stuff, Kindly can any one advice as i am due to go for my appointment on 1st July.

I have uploaded the following documents already just wondering if have to delete any will await your kindly and timely reply ASAP

1) Life in the UK Pass result
2) SELT B1 English test result
3) Current BRP
4) Passport - front and back
5) Employer letter stating the SOC code and the need for foreseeable future
6) Letter from previous employers for my absences from the UK
7) Signed consent form declaration
8) Latest payslip
9) Latest Bank statement to reflect the pay
10) Document checklist from
11) My address proof Driving licence

In addition i have scanned in the following papers

1) Accommodation proof for the last 5 years accommodations bills
2) Utility Bills
3) Last five years salary slips
4) p45 for the last 5 years
6) p60 for the last 5 years
7) previous home office case ID numbers
8) All bank communication letters as my address proof for the last 5 years
9) My NHS doctors letters
10) My travel history - letters from the previous employers
11) Past 5 years letters from the HMRC[/u][/i][/b]

Now my questions are
1) Do i need to keep the second set of additional documents or should i just delete them to avoid making my application 'complex' i am a bit worried. I mean the documents i highlighted above in the bold and italic

2) Do i need to furnish my degree certificate i see no where a need for that being mentioned however i can see that most of you all have submitted the same. I hold a bachelors in medicine and masters as well from an Indian university and MRCS form the UK

3) Regarding the Cover letter again i have not seen this being mentioned anywhere so i am totally oblivious about this concept. Kindly can you guide me what to mention in the cover letter and the points to be written in the same

4) DO i need to take all the documents original on the day of appointment and do i need a mandatory copy of the same as well.

I am eagerly awaiting your reply at the earliest please to help me out of this situation.

Many thanks.

1. Do not provide unnecessary documentation. The 2nd set you have mentioned is not required. You can just add P60 from last year and one utility bill with your current address. That should be sufficient.

1.a. You also need to include all the pages of your current passport and any previous passport if you have used it to enter UK in last 5 years. ALL PAGES to be scanned.

2. Not required.

3. Cover letter not required.

4. Ideally not required if your quality of scan is good. They will check the quality of scan at the centre. To be on safer side, you may take a copy of each (just in case they want to scan it again). There is nothing to be submitted physically.

Hi All,
I am wondering based on advice from others, as regarding the passport in this post indefinite-leave-to-remain/indefinite-l ... 78124.html

it has been mentioned that he just submitted the details page. Did you submit the inside entry and exit stamps at the immigration as well? I have not uploaded the same but i was advised to upload the individual stamped pages in the scanned documents. Please let me know.My appointment is coming soon in a week. Many thanks.

you will get different variants in different posts. It's a judgement call that you have to take. Is there any harm to scan other pages as well? No. So, why take the risk. I did all pages. Btw, you don't have to scan each page separately. You can scan all as a single PDF.

As long as the statement has your name and address and statement date, it should be fine.
