Dear Immigration Board members,

I am on Tier 2 General and my wife on PBS Dependent visa

Initial Visa granted - 08/06/2014 to 15/06/2017
She went to India for maternity on 03/05/2015 and back to UK on 23/03/2016
Visa extension granted - 13/06/2017 to 27/12/2018
she went to India for holidays on 08/07/2017 and back to UK on 26/09/2017
Visa extension granted - 12/12/2018 to 08/06/2020

I am confused and not sure about this new 180 rule, I would like to know when my wife will be eligible for ILR?

Many thanks,
Vicky

There is NO absence limit for PBS Dependents who held visas issued BEFORE 11th January 2018!!

She will be eligible for ILR no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of her initial visa ISSUE date.

Hi CR001,
Thanks for your response. Can you refer us to official govt rules that states that 190 day rule does apply to individuals who were granted visa before Jan 2018.

Thanks
