Hello Guys,

Planning on applying ILR Enterprenur 5 year as a company director.

But read some information about Tax returns and tax deductions for director etc. Are they going to check applicant's tax history etc too when deciding Entrepreneur ILR? Because I had to pay late penalties for 2018 tax return. would that be an issue?

I prepared all the following documents, just worrying about the above,

Passport/BRP
Completed Form
Life in UK Test
English Language Test
Two Recent Passport Sized Photos

Current Appointment Report
Companies House showing company's filing history page
CT41G
Business Bank statements

Job Creation * 2 Employees –

Employee Passport Copies

Printouts of Real Time Full Payment Submissions (FPS) showing total payments made to settled workers, income tax deductions & start/leave date of each settled worker for 12 Months
PAY SLIPS For 12 Months

Can you please confirm? - planning on applying next Wednesday. so quick answer will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Generally should not affect you unless the tax issues were serious like fraud or failure to pay any taxes

Thanks @zimba

So as I said I did my self assessment tax return little last month for 2017/18 and paid a late fee of £100

Will this be an issue?

Because I seen some of the rejections for late submission for ILR LR (I'm applying Set(o) Entrepreneur ILR)

Can you please advice?

Thanks in advance!

Tax issues never affected Tier 1E applicants, only Tier 1 General

Also you can contact HMRC and they would be happy to waive this penalty especially if its the first time and you have some excuse
