Need help of ilr Visa duration

I got my ilr Visa today. But my brp is valid only from 2019 to 2024. Why is this? Please let me know. I applied under 10 years rule.

This is due to the EU introducing the next generation of encryption technology for BRPs in 2024. There will be a requirement to apply for a renewal, comparable to applying for a new bank card or passport.

It is just the expiry of the card NOT your ILR status as Casa advised also. Its like you have to renew your driving license or passport after expiry date.

But dont you plan to apply for Brtitish Citizenship? You can apply for BC after 12 months so in that case expiry is irrelevant.

What visa does your wife hold atm? What was your category before you got ILR on LR basis?

My wife is still in tier 4 dependant visa. I was in tier 4 before applying ilr.

Wife: FLR(M), ILR clock will reset to zero, she has to meet financial and English Requirement for this.

Daughter: Register UK born child as Brtish Citizen via MN1 as you have ILR.
