Dear Friends,
I will like to ask for your opinion regarding my Ilr.
I will be six years on tier 2 visa in August this year. I was suppose to apply for my Ilr in August 2018 but we
received unannounced visit from Home office in August 2017 regarding one of our staff that applied for
extension of tier 2 visa. Our licence was suspended but later reinstated in May 2018.
I supposed to have increment in January 2018,( Company Annual Increment Period) but because of the
investigation and suspension my boss did not increased our money (those on tier 2) . Even when the licence
was reinstated the boss refused to increased the money until January 2019 .( another Company Annual
increment period) even though all the sponsors staff are Company managers
My salary was increased to £36500 (39Hrs) from £31500 (40Hrs) (13.7% increment of £5000) in January 2019
together with the remaining sponsors staff and all other staff in the company (5 sponsors in number) but
only two of us qualify for ILR soon and i will like to apply for ILR with my wife and one of my daughter
that is on tier 2 visa in April 2019 after 3 months of increment. MY SOC code salary is 32500
The changes to 39 hrs per week was reported on SMS and also the Increment to £36500 was reported on
SMS as well even though it was an annual increment for all members of staff, although the increments %
varies.
My questions is:
will the sudden 13.7 %(£5000) increment raise a red flag?
