Hi,
Couple of people told me that there is a requirement that the applicant should be in UK for at least last 3 months before the date of application for ILR?
For example if you want to submit your ILR application (on the basis of PBS dependent completing 5 years) in Aug 2019, then the applicant should be in UK during May 2019 to Aug 2019 and should not be out of country on holidays during this period.
Is this true? I can't see this requirement anywhere on the UK Gov website.

Thanks for the confirming.
As much as I don't want to listen to other people on this, i didn't want to take any risk. Hence, I thought I should check with immigration gurus

There is no such requirement as CR001 already advised.
However, note, if you travel close to your visa expiry, you should be mentally prepared to be grilled more by the immigration officer at the airport on your arrival back to UK. You should be ready to satisfy him and aswer all questions that you are fulfilling your visa conditions atm (maybe those people tried to warn you about this possibility)

Thanks. Yes that should be fine. The visa expiry is in Jan 2020 anyways, but as I will complete my 5 years in Aug 2019, so I will apply for ILR early.
