Absence confirmation letter for ILR from previous employer - Company no longer exist

Hi All,
If a person has two employers during the 5 year qualifying period;
- Previous Employer 7th Feb 2014 to 24th July 2015: Tier 2 general with some absences (36 days absence in 2014 and 10 days in 2015, residency not broken)
- Current Employer 14th August 2015 to 7th Feb 2020: Tier 2 General with same SOC code (residency not broken)
There is a requirement to provide employment and absence confirmation letter from previous employer but his/her previous employer company no longer exist now and unfortunately he/she was not aware of getting this absence confirmation letter while leaving previous company.
So, what to do in this situation? How can one fulfil this requirement if the previous company no longer exist? Is there any alternate option(s) to fulfil this requirement?
Current employer is happy to provide the employment and absence confirmation letter so there is no problems there its just issue with previous employer.
Waiting for experts advice and thanks in advance!
