Tier 1 Ent ILR application - home office asks for interview

Hi,
Please I need advice. Home office called today and gave 2 days notice for an interview. I applied for my ILR on 19th Jan using the new system.
I haven’t come across anyone being interviewed at this stage of ILR, I’m only aware of the interview at extension stage.
Advice please from senior members and anyone who has had a similar experience.

First time I heard about interview on ILR (tier 1 ent )base , are you on 2000000 or 50000 ? And where they called you for interview ? Your own office or home office place ?

That is strange. This is something new. Seems like HO has started interviewing ILR applications now.
Were you interviewed at extension stage?
How long did your extension take?
Is your company registered at home?

You got you extension after 2 years delay? It is really surprising that HO called for an interview even if you were interviewed at extension stage.
You should prepare yourself the same way as you prepared at extension time.
Do you think why HO would interview you? You know your situation best. Any unusual activity?
When was your extension approved?

Just to reconfirm - my extension came after 8 months.
No unusual activity.
Extension was in 2017 Feb.
Will keep you posted.

Hi,
Its really strange, after first interview they gave you extension accepting that everything is fine and after few months again conducting second interview. I am really worried after reading all forum and new policy guidance. Please update us after interview.

Looks like you are the first case need interview at ILR stage.
Oh gosh, can they work hard at Brexit instead?
Entrepreneurs are all busy at work.
Summary for OP
1) Feb 2017 applied extension and Oct 2017 Approved
2) An interview for extension was conducted during this time (Feb 2017 - Oct 2017)
Now, they need an interview for ILR and asking the same stupid questions.

OP is not active since last visit on 30th March. No one else has reported an interview so far other than OP so lets see how authentic it is or is it just a one off.

This is really strange. When is your interview and where. It’s really worrisome they are asking for interview, moreso Tristan the former didn’t come back to update us on the outcome of his interview.

Applied online in September 2018.
Still waiting.
Received letter asking about the whereabout of my UK born son in November 2018. Responded that I would apply for his British passport after I get ILR.
Received complex letter in January 2019.

I am please to inform you that my Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa has been successfully extended after I applied 8 months ago!
£50,000.00 category
I used share capital and not directors loan
I did not use a solicitor
My timeline-
Applied on 13 Feb 2016
Biometrics done on 05 Mar 2016
IMM surcharge refunded 16 Mar 2016
Interviewed on 18 May 2016
Home Office requested for further information 06 Oct 2016
Further information sent 11 Oct 2016
BPR card received this morning 22 Oct 2016
It was really a long wait!

How did they contact you? Over the phone/email? At their premises or they will come to your office? When is your interview? Please post your update here after your interview. Thanks

This is just a waste that they are interviewing someone already interviewed at extension stage!!
