Date on the documents for ILR

Hi,

I am going to apply for ILR through Tier2 route later this year and I couldn't find an answer for the following questions:

1. What should be a date on the current employer's letter confirming I am working there and they want me to stay for foreseeable future? No later than month, week, day?
2. I switched sponsors and I will have to submit a letter of absence from my previous employer as well. What is the rule for the date on this letter?

I was hoping someone would help me with these questions.

Thank you a lot.

Thank you, matrix123, for your response!

Do you know where can I find a guidance about it?

Thank you so much
