ILR Application - Employment gap in Tier 2 visa

Hi

I was sponsored on the TIER 2 by a company in July 2012 and my role was made redundant in Dec 2012.
I got sponsored by another company in June 2013, there was a gap of roughly 6 months, will this be an issue when I apply for ILR and do I need to provide any evidence for this period?

Your response will be appreciated.

Thanks
Coolmum

No issue, provided you did not work during this time and you did not stay beyond your visa curtailment date if your visa was curtailed.

Thanks for your reply.
How do I know if my visa was curtailed?

Thanks

You would have received a letter from HO.

Hi Cr001,

I have a similar situation, I visited the UK on a tourist visa in April 2009 ( my visa was from 01/2009-07/2009)for the Easter hoildays and came back in September 2009 on a tier 4 student visa and have been resident in the UK since then.
Can I apply for my ILR (LR) from April 2019 or from September 2019?
I was going to wait till September 2019 and apply but just wanted to know if I could actually apply earlier?

Your response will be apprciated

Regards,
Coolmum

If the gap between when you left and when you returned in September 2009 was within 6 months, then you can apply under SET(LR) based on your UK entry in April 2009
