Hi, Guys , i am to apply for ILR 10 years Route in a couple of days time, haven't started online application yet ,but i have just been told by my friend that he filled in online application SET LR ( 10 years ) and there is section asking about your dependent and after that it gives you a list of documents to be submitted in which they are asking for cohabitation address proof covering last 2 years and birth certificates of children , even though his wife not applying with him , in my case i have 3 dependents, none of them are applying with me , my wife apply for FLR M after my successful application .
how can they ask for cohabitation address proof in ILR 10 years application ?
secondly they didn't mention how many proof but they need 6 proof covering last 2 years , it's next to impossible as all the bank statements and credit card statements are online so even if we order previous statements it shows issued date as current , it tried loyds and it has current issued date.
3) if i have 3 documents showing both our names as joint accounts , will it be enough?
i have
1)last 3 years council tax bill ( joint name)
2)Thames Water ( my name as main and my mrs name on the right corner as additional account holder)
covering last 3 years.
3) tenancy agreement showing both the names for the last 2 years ?
are these 3 documents enough for cohabitation proof for mY Set LR and my MRS FLRM.
i have some other proofs as well like pooling card, bank statement, CC statement, Mobile Bill, NHS letters, HMRC letters , car insurance papers , ETC but these documents are not covering last 2 years .
please advise

For long residence you should qualify on your own and your dependants and family are irrelevant to your application. You do not need to send cohabitation documents or any documents regarding your children. Online list is not accurate :!:

Hi Zimba, i have Submitted my Set LR application and got an appointment for Tuesday 8:30 Croydon,
i am really concerned about documents upload section on Sopra website as it gives me 2 options
Mandatory documents and optional documents,
under mandatory there is no list of documents to upload nor any option to upload documents,
however optional documents section does have list and sections to upload documents but all irrelevant to my application, don't know what to do , as i have very less time left , below is the snap shot , please advise.

I am not familiar with their website interface. I assume they ensure all your docs are uploaded at the appointment. Others might be able to help

Hi,
It’s better to upload all documents which they asked.
You can upload in relevant sections.
Please reduce the files size to 6 MB and they must be in black and white or grey colour.

Ok, just spoke to UKVSA customer services and I have been told that upload documents in optional documents section and they have confirmed that they receive documents checklist from home office and they can’t see any mandatory documents in my case , but I challenged that for ILR the mandatory documents are life in the uk test and English requirement , but I assume that since the application is online and home office probably only asks for the mandatory documents which they don’t have record of .
Life in the uk test report is automatically sent to UKVI I selected my degree for English requirement and used the same degree for last 3 extension .
Hence these docs are not in mandatory docs list
Just assuming .

This is normal. This is how sopra website works. The sopra only considers your passport in the mandatory documents. All other docs (even tho mandatory) will be uploaded in the optional categories. Just upload the docs in the sections. Relax.
