Hi All, I have been reading on this forum for a while and it is really helpful. I got the tier 2 general on 1-6-2014 which was extended for an other 2 years in 2017. Now it is expiring on 25-5-2019 which makes 5 years - 7 days. Please guide me if I can go for priority service and when should I apply for it. I have my wife and two daughters with me. Wife and elder daughter got the same date for visa expiration as mine but the younger one was born in October 2018 so I have not applied for her visa yet. My salary is £32k right now and will be increased to £3600 this month. Am I exempted from minimum salary threshold anyway? My job code was 2136. Any information on what documents should I get prepared, what date should I apply for my visa and my dependents and any do's and dont's will be really appreciated. I have been going through the same stress and difficult time as many of us go through when the time comes for visa extension/application.

No sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date your initial visa was issued. You can apply priority or super priority if you wish to.

What date where their visas initially granted?? Where was the younger child born, UK or abroad??
My salary is £32k right now and will be increased to £3600 this month. Am I exempted from minimum salary threshold anyway? My job code was 2136.

SOC 2136 is BOTH a shortage and non shortage job. How do you know yours is a shortage occupation??? Does your last CoS state it is shortage occupation??

My wife got the first visa on 29-6-2016 and the extension was done at the same time as mine 17-8-2017.
My daughter got it on 15-11-2017. Both BRP will expire at the same date as mine 25-5-2019. Both daughters were born in the UK.
My job code used was on the shortage occupation list when I applied for in 2014. I am a programmer and after getting back and forth with UKBA 3 time they issued my visa in 2014.

Your wife can apply no sooner than within 28 days before 29th June 2021. She cannot apply for ILR with you and will have to apply for a 3 year PBS Dependent extension.
My daughter got it on 15-11-2017. Both BRP will expire at the same date as mine 25-5-2019. Both daughters were born in the UK.
Both children can be registered as British on form MN1 once you get ILR.
My job code used was on the shortage occupation list when I applied for in 2014. I am a programmer and after getting back and forth with UKBA 3 time they issued my visa in 2014.

First of all thank you so much for the quick response. Really appreciate it.
So I have to have my salary minimum 35600? Will it be ok if I get the increment this month and apply for the visa next month? Can I go for priority service like 15th of May and once I get the answer I apply for my wife and kids? Again I am very thankful for the quick responses.

Sudden increments to salary just before the application will raise suspicion and more investigation in your case which may result in delays.

The minimum salary for ILR based on 39 hours per week is £35,800pa OR what is stated in the SOC, whichever is higher.
Will it be ok if I get the increment this month and apply for the visa next month?
As already stated by the previous poster, sudden large increases shortly before ILR will be an instant red flag to HO, especially if you are the only employee getting such a large increase.
Can I go for priority service like 15th of May and once I get the answer I apply for my wife and kids?
Yes, assuming your ILR is not delayed.

Then it will be better to send a normal application which takes up to six months? Anything else will you suggest to avoid any red flags? I am a bit scared this time.
