Hi there,
I was given the permission to go to UK on 01/11/2012.
The first date I entried UK was 01/12/2012.
I checked on the gov.uk it says

Your 10-year qualifying period starts from either:

when you arrived in the UK with a visa
when you were given permission to stay in the UK

Does it mean the earliest date I can apply my LR can be 28 days before 01/11/2022?
I am quite confuse about it as lots of people said the qualifying period starts from the day you entried UK.

The interpretation by most is:
1- When you entered ( entrance date)
2-Permission to stay( in country applications) which is confusing, of course if someone has already spent sometime continuously.
Confusion with โ€œ Permission to stayโ€ and permission to enter๐Ÿ™‚

The qualifying period counts from the date you entered the UK. So it is 28 days from 01/12/2022
