Hello,

I am on tier-2 general visa and eligible for ILR next year. My wife has converted from tier-2 ICT dependent to tier-2 General dependent when I moved from ICT.

I am aware that the 180 days continuous rule is applicable for dependents too. Although, I would like to clarify if there are any exemptions on the medical grounds as my wife has travelled out of the UK for more than 180 days on maternity.

She was out of the UK from 02/June/2017 to 27/Feb/2018 (271 days) on maternity.

Can you please confirm if she is eligible to apply ILR along with me after 4 years 11 months? If yes due to maternity exceptions, what documentation is required?

1. Please do not tag your questions onto other members topic. It is unfair to other posters and creates confusion when members respond.

2. There is NO absence limit for PBS Dependent visa holders whose visas were issued BEFORE 11 January 2018!!
