Hi,
I applied for ILR(10 years) on 03 Jan 2019.
My wife applied for FLRFP on 07 Jan 2019.
But she didn't submitted evidence for English language skills.

I have been granted VISA now.
But they have retain my wife's passport and returned her documents.

1. Is there a chance that her visa might get rejected?
2. If it gets rejected, what other option she has?
3. I am not working at the moment. Does that impact her application? (My wife works and earns more than £18000/year. Also our combined saving is more than £20,000. We are also expecting first baby in a month.)

They might have rejected her application for non compliance to immigration rule. English language certificate passed at level B1 is required and she didn’t present it. I will advise you book for English language test as soon as possible for and see if she will be given a right for AR

The Ops wife did not apply for ILR. They applied for FLR FP and the 10 year flr FP partner route has no English or financial requirement.

Thanks for the correction. Didn’t read that, will advise you call UKVI to find out what is happening to your wife’s passport. Not sending an English language qualification is not a problem otherwise there might be other issues which you can hopefully only find out if you ring them

Hi CR001,
I just went through the guideline(https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa) and it says applicant should meet the minimum income requirement and prove knowledge of English. I am confused now.

My wife's Flr Fp application(existing) varied to FLR M as suggested by Solicitor.
Didn't understand why ..But I hope it is the right thing. and as mentioned my wife don't have english language proof. oh and i have ILR(10 year route)

Why did you vary to FLR(M) if your spouse does not have English test?? It is a mandatory requirement for FLR(M).

Actually I am getting a NARIC certificate. But I don't know which one? Is it Statement of comparability, English language assessment or visa & nationality service?

NARIC red route, English and comparable assessment. Costs about £150, same price as the English test.
