Dear Moderators,

I would appreciate your advice. Below are my visas and time frame:

Tier 2 general: Mar 2014- 30 Nov 2014
Tier 2 dependant : 01 Oct 2014 - 14 Mar 2017
Tier 2 dependant:02 June 2016 - 16 Aug 2019

My husband will be applying for his ILR in June( we have been married since June 2014).

28 days from 1st of October, 2019(5 years from the start of my tier 2 dependant visa) is 3rd of September ( 2 weeks 4 days after my visa expiry date).

My question is : Will I have to extend my visa for 2 weeks 4 days? or can I apply directly for ILR by August based on my husband already having his ILR( as a patner of a person settled in the UK)?

Thanks for your help. :?:

Apply for ILR under the standard route SET(O) in August. It may take few weeks which by that time you will be eligible

He could have applied within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date his initial visa was issued, i.e. March 2014.
can I apply directly for ILR by August based on my husband already having his ILR( as a patner of a person settled in the UK)?

DO NOT apply on SET(M), it is the wrong form for a PBS Dependent. You apply for ILR on form SET(O).

Thanks for your responses. I am the one who switched from a tier 2 visa general to a dependant visa .I was initially sponsored from MARCH 2014 but switched to my husband's visa in October 2014.
