10 day priority service? Only 6 months or 24-hour available as options

Hi all

Maybe I imagined this but I thought there was 3 types of service for the ILR process:

6 month (standard)
5 - 10 days (priority) an extra £500
24 hours (super priority) an extra £800

I've just gone through my application and I can only select 6 months, or 24 hours. I'm not sure I can handle the stress of waiting 6 months, and I cannot afford the extra £800 for the 24 hour service.

I've seen the 3 options on sites like this:

The site above is a walkthrough for ancestry and mine is a spouse, Set (M) -- but it can't make that much of a difference, can it?!

Has anyone else managed to use this magic 2nd option?

Bear in mind there is a long delay reported in people getting appointments for biometrics. You might have to also pay for an earlier appointment depending on your location.

I called UK VI and they explained the middle option (£500 priority service) is only available on certain visas, and not ILR Set (M). So there you go. 6 months for free or "same day" for £800.

It doesn't take 6 months though unless it is complex. It is usually 8 weeks.
