Status of Tier2 Dependent after my SET (LR)

Hi, currently i am on Tier2 (general) visa with dependent wife and son. I am planning to apply ILR via SET (LR) route next month on a priority same day service. My wife will be eligible for ILR on SET(LR) route after 2 months as she came in UK on student Visa and letter became my dependent.

My employer is aware that i am going to apply ILR via SET(LR) route and after I receive the ILR (on same day service) they are planning to inform Home Office that I am no longer on Tier2 visa.

Now my questions are

1. If my sponsor notify about my ILR to HO, will it be an issue for my wife's tier2 dependent visa?
2. If i get ILR on same day service and my wife apply to her ILR after 1 month, what is her visa status for this mean time?
3. What if if do not inform my sponsor about my visa change? Am i legally bound to inform this?

Please help me to clear these confusions.

Thank you

1. No.

2. Her existing visa remains as long as she stay in the UK and her visa is not curtailed. She is dependent on YOU not your sponsor.

3. You need to inform them. Your sponsor updating the SMS is just a formality.

You are overthinking.
