Hi All,

As I would be applying for ILR in few months, have few question which you might be able to answer from your past experience.

I got Tier 2 (General) Visa in 2014 and that time during application I used UK NARIC Statement of Comparability (BLUE Route) and Point based System calculator to check University and points accordingly (No longer available since 2017).

Now in 2019, I will be applying ILR and for which I need to provide knowledge of the English language

You can prove it by having either: https://www.gov.uk/english-language

i. an English qualification at B1, B2, C1 or C2 level
ii. a degree taught or researched in English

Now in my case, I have following Doucments:

i. my previous statement of Comparability - done in 2014 BLUE Route of UK NARIC https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/Individu ... ility.aspx

ii. Engineering Degree Certificate from University

iii. Medium of Instruction Certificate from University and College.

Now my question is, what should I apply for out of below 3 options ??

1. UK Naric "Blue route" for English Language Assessment service only cost £49+ VAT, which probably will give me "C1" level result
https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/Individu ... sment.aspx

As I already have Blue route done in 2014 for statement of Comparability, so this time I can just apply for English Language Assessment service, is this BLUE ROUTE acceptable or I have to go with RED route only ??

2. UK NARIC "RED Route" Visas and Nationality Service, cost £150 https://www.naric.org.uk/visas%20and%20 ... fault.aspx

3. Go for TRINITY Test of B1 SELT – GESE Grade 5 which cost £150, from https://www.trinitycollege.com/site/?id=3220

looking for suggestions and your personal experience.

thanks,
Rahul.

No need to spam the forum with multiple duplicate posts in threads.

You need NARIC Red route, ELA and comparable assessment.
