Now my question is this how can i get ILR if my this visa expires. I did not want to go on this route but we couldnor fulfil income requirements on that we had to go with this option. Is there any way that i get ilr my this extension expires?

You must wait until you have been in the UK lawfully for at least 10 years which is 2026.

So my initial 2.5 years include in these 10 years or my 10 years starts from this extension?

ILR (LR)--10 years route, the applicant must be legally and continuously living in the UK (276A).

In your case, arrived UK in March 2016, you are able to apply in March 2026 as @Zimba said. For instance, 01/03/2016 to 01/03/2026, 10 years.

But your circumstances unknown, cannot say which answer it is based on 276A. In theory, yes, the initial 2.5 years is included in 10 years.
