ILR After 5 Years on Tier 1 Ent. Visa

I am on Tier 1-Ent. Extension Visa granted in Nov, 2014 & would be completing my lawful residency of 5 years in Nov, 2019.

I have following questions:

1. How many months / weeks before Nov., 19 should I approach Solicitor for preparation of the file for ILR?

2. Can I apply for 24 Hrs Service / Premium Service for ILR?

3. Is there any new set of document required apart from what was given during the extension process?

Look forward Hearing.

Regards,

Sam

You do not need a solicitor for ILR, it is up to you to engage one if you wish. You can apply for ILR 28 days from completing the 5 years
2. Can I apply for 24 Hrs Service / Premium Service for ILR?
You should apply online for ILR and choose a level of service you like provided by UKVCAS. As far as I know, there is no same day option
3. Is there any new set of document required apart from what was given during the extension process?
All extension documents (no need to prove investment again) + LIUK pass certificate
There is no IHS to pay either

Dear Zimba,

May I please request for the following inputs on ILR:

1. Can we apply for ILR out of country / from the native country?

2. Do we need to maintain the investment of £200K till the end of year 5?

3. What is the typical turnaround time for issuance of ILR in case of T1 Ent. Visa Holder?

Look forward hearing.

Regards,

SW

1. Can we apply for ILR out of country / from the native country?
No you cannot. It can only be applied for within the UK when you meet the requirements.
3. What is the typical turnaround time for issuance of ILR in case of T1 Ent. Visa Holder?
Difficult for anyone to say at this point as the new service is still new and until someone posts from experience of tier 1 ent to ILR, we won't know.

Hello There,

May I please request for inputs to the following queries:

Brief background:
1) Initial Visa Date Nov 2014
1. Entered UK in Nov, 2014 on T1 E Visa.
2. Got my Extension in Oct., 2018.
3. Shall Apply for ILR in Nov, 2019
You can apply upto 28 days before the 5th Anniversary from your visa issue date.

Have Following Queries:
1. Do I need a continuous stay of 180 days before ILR application or can be it be in parts? You cannot be outside UK each year more than 180 days for your 5 year qualifying period
2. Is there a provision of same day Premium Service Centre or Super Premium service or Super Priority service (new arrangements) for ILR application and how quickly do we get the results Only standard service for Tier1. The standard time is 6 months. However, some members have reported successful application in around 3-3.5 months. But none has reported so far using the new system so cant really say.
3. What is the fee for the main applicant & dependents (Wife + 2 Kids below 12) Main applicant £2389 plus £19.20 biometric. I think its the same fee for wife and kids also but not sure you can check it on the gov website
4. What if the company shown in during Extension Application have gone in to liquidation You have to provide Current Appointments Report within 3 months of the application and company status should be active
5. Do we need to maintain £200K investment. There is no requirement to send any investment related docs for ILR. However, you are still supposed to maintain the £200k investment. HO can demand for it at anytime if they want
6. Any new document to be presented Refer to Tier 1 guidance for the docs you need or many members have posted full list of docs. Docs for ILR are lesser than at extension statge as you are not supposed to send investment documents

Look forward to your kind help.

Sam

Basically whatever conditions you applied at extension stage via DL or share capital should be intact at ILR stage also. Not that you take the money out of the DL. It does not necessarily meam that your account should have £200k at the time of ILR.

You can apply no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of your initial visa issue date. The date you submit and pay online is the date of submission and not the date of your UKCVAS appointment.
Can I travel during the time I have applied for ILR
No you cannot. Traveling out of the UK will result in your ILR application being withdrawn.
What is the expected timelines for getting ILR these days
Anywhere between 2 months and 8 months.

Yes. You need 2 Full time Jobs that existed 12 months each AFTER the date of your extension. Note two jobs not employees.

Your previous thread suggests you already applied for ILR in 2018???

indefinite-leave-to-remain/tier-1-e-to- ... 96-20.html

Okay so your application was refused and you got an extension then. Got it now.
