Hello All,
I am eligible to apply for ILR on August 2020, but my current visa expires on April 2020.
Can anyone advise how to get this 4 months covered please?
My current visa is dependent visa from the doctor extension visa, and I have reached the cap to study level 7 courses.
Really appreciated for advices.
Thanks.

He can only find a sponsor company to apply Tier 2 visa, he is still looking at the moment. So I was hoping to apply ILR in case there is no luck.
Many thanks.

You don't qualify for ILR so early. You will need to apply for a visa you qualify for or as a dependent with your partner.

On what basis are you planning to apply for ilr, is it 10 years long residence?

Yes, it is the 10 year long residence. What kind of visa I can apply for? Is it possible to apply a tourist visa to cover the 4 months?
Thanks.

You would have to apply from outside the UK for a tourist visa and there is no guarantee you will get one.

Other than that you would have to find a visa you qualify for, tier 2, tier 4, innovator or start up visa.

Thanks very much for your advice. I'll have a look those options.
Have a lovely day.
