Reporting absence on ILR PBS dependant application

Hello,
Tier 2 and Tier 2 dependant are applying for ILR after 5 years. Our last BRPs were issued on 6 January 2018. According to the HO guidance on calculating the continuous stay for PBS depenadant: 'You must not include any absence from the UK during periods of leave granted under the Rules in place before 11 January 2018 towards the 180 days allowable absences' (https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... riod-in-uk; page
In the online ILR application form we were asked to input the absences for dependant since 11 Jan 2018 and the BRP number afterwards (it seems the system is not taking the issue date into account).
Could you please confirm that there is no absence limit for PBS dependant in our circumstances and we do not need to provide evidence for absences.
