Hi Every One,
Can some one please translate this, I am not sure what the paragraph below means:
1) Does it mean I have to provide my leave days if i got my extension before 2018 or not ?
2) The leave granted what does it mean ?
"not have been absent from the UK for more than 180 days in any 12 month
period during the 2 or 5 year period where that leave was granted on or after 11
January 2018"
page 25 of

Best regards,
Sam

PBS dependents applying for ILR have no absence limit IF the visa (last leave to remain) was issued before 11th Jan 2018. The absence limit comes into play only if the visa was issued AFTER 11th Jan 2018.

Wow, thank you, kind Sir!
Thank you for the fast response!
1) If I may ask how do you interpret "leave was granted on or after 11 January 2018" to get to when the last visa was issued, I guess I'm just struggling here with the legal term.
a) Can you please explain what "leave was granted on or after 11 January 2018" means?
Now for the next question.
2) I already completed my IRL application form as a dependant which I filled in my absence from the UK after 11 January 2018 and booked an appointment.
a) Will this lead to a rejection of my application do I need to update my application form?
b) Can I even update my IRL application from?
Thanks in advance,
Sam

It means a leave to remain visa granted/issued/approved on or after this date. If your last leave to remain visa extension was granted before this date, then it does not apply to you.
Now for the next question.

No!
b) Can I even update my IRL application from?
You cannot edit the form once submitted.
