Hello,
I came to UK on Tier2 ICT visa (Established staff) on 07 November 2010. I have applied for switch to Tier 2 General (priority service) on 20th November 2014 with in UK.

BRP Card for Tier 2 General issued on : 20-Nov-2014
Actual COS start date for Tier 2 General visa: 29-Nov-2014 (its a weekend)
Joining date with new employer: 01-DEC-2014

My current BRP card (renewed) is going to expires on 12-DEC-2019.

Although Issue date on the BRP card is mentioned as 20-Nov-2014, I continued working with my old employer (Tier 2 ICT sponsor) till 28-Nov-2014.

Can someone please suggest what would be the start date I should consider for filling Set(O) application form for ILR?
Also, please suggest the earliest date i can submit my ILR application form ?

Visa issue date. You can apply within 28 days of completing your 5 years from visa issue date

Can you please clarify on below queries:
1. As i am employed with new sponsor (current) from 01-DEC-2014, does the days from 20-NOV-2014 till 30-NOV-2014 count as absence ? ( I was on UK payroll with old sponsor till 28-NOV-2014)

2. if answer to above question is no, what is the likely scenario considered by case worker ?

3. I worked with my old sponsor till 28-NOV-2014. Should i have to mention this in the cover letter ?

I have planned to submit my ILR applicaton on 24-OCT-2019.

I was reviewing my taxes paid from 2014 onwards and noticed that i have not included private medical insurance during submission of tax returns for years 2015-2016 and 2017-2018 using self assessment service.

As a result, I got tax refund. Can someone please advise if this is going to affect my ILR application ?

What steps should i have to take now in order to pay back the taxes on private medical insurance.

It will have no relevance to ILR under Tier 2. Minor errors can be mitigated by declaring these as adjustments in the upcoming tax return. Seek help from an accountant

Just want to make sure we are on the same page.

Can you please advice if i have to clear my tax dues using an accountant and then submit ILR application ?

I spoke to a solicitor explaining the context and he advised me to clear the tax dues with HMRC as any tax discrepancies will result in refusals .

if I clear the dues before ILR application submission, will Home office consider any fault on my conduct and honesty ? Are there any cases that came to your notice on Tier2 General to ILR application with refusals on TAX discrepancies ?

I am bit stressed at the moment

It will have no relevance to ILR under Tier 2 Tax discrepancies only affected Tier 1 General as they had to meet a total pay threshold which could include self employment income and many falsely declared non-genuine income under self employment.
Tier 2 has no such requirement and only your gross employment salary counts

I have to process my spouse visa extension. She was on Tier 2 general dependent visa.

Should i have to renew her visa on Tier 2 dependent or ILR dependent ? Please suggest
