Hello Everyone,
My wife is in FLRM five years route now Her first BRP issued on 24/10/2014 to 24/04/2017 and second extension FLRM from 11/05/2017 to 09/12/2019. Which month she will be ready for SETM application.

Background- I got British Citizenship through long residency (8 years + Tier 1) in 2016. I got married in the year of 2011 and my wife came as PBS dependent. She came in the year of 2012. She was in two years route but due to wrongly submitted City and Guild English exam certificate which was not valid at the time of application and application refused. Finally, Home Office gave her visa in five years route.

I would be helpful if you please reply me when she can apply.

Thanks

Correct Application Form

Hi Everyone,

I got British Citizenship through the 10 years route(Student 8 years+2 years Tier 1). My wife came before July 2012 as spouse visa while I was in Tier 1 route. My wife got five year route and she is now 3 months to end the five years route. To apply indefinite leave which form she will apply SETm or SETo

In the application form asking following question to determine application form.
1) Were you originally granted leave on the basis of an application made before 9 July 2012 as a partner on the family route? (Required)
Your original leave to remain would have been for 2 years. You cannot have had an application considered, granted or refused on another route since that time.

Answer yes or No
Which one I will choose as she came before July 2012 so YES but she was granted from two years to five years route. So my question is still shall I choose YES.

2) Was your leave granted as the partner of a Points Based System Migrant? (Required)
For example, Tier 1, 2, 4 or 5
Question YES or NO.
What will be the answer ? I was in Tier 1 but my wife last extension was while I got indefinite leave.

I would be grateful if these questions answered.

Topics Merged!!!!

She applies on form SET(M) if she holds a FLR(M) spouse visa for 5 years.

Her time under Tier 1 Dependent is completely irrelevant.
