Hi Guys,
Please help me on below confusion I have.
My Tier2 General VISA was issued (Stamped on Passport) back in India 23 October 2014 and I arrived to UK on 22 November 2014.
My question is when will I be eligible to apply for ILR?
Is it 28 day before 5th anniversary of VISA issued which means 25/09/2019.
or
28 day before 5th anniversary of UK entry which means 25/10/2019.
Please help me with this,
Thank you,
Kind Regards.
Sri

No sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the initial visa issue date.

Dear CR001,
Thank you for your reply, which means I am eligible to apply after 25/09/2019.
Is this correct?
Thank you,
Regards.

Dear CR001,
Could you please refer some of your contacts or people from this blog who are already applied for ILR or about to apply for ILR.
Thank you,
Regards.

Do a search of the 100s of recent topics and simply ask any questions you have in your own topic please.
It isn't a difficult application to make so not sure what your concerns are.

Dear CR001
I am confused on your reply's as you stated in your reply last year (please see below).
but you replied me differently (No sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the initial visa issue date.), so now question is which one of your answer to be believed.
When is it too late to apply for indefinite leave to remain?

I entered the UK on a spouse visa in 2013 and I renewed my visa in 2016 but my renewed visa won't expire until 2019 and by then I would have lived in the U.K for 6 years yet am only required to stay 5 years before applying for ILR. Can I apply for ILR now or wait until then?
Thank you

You can apply for ILR anytime within 28 days before reaching 5 years residence, counted from the date you entered in 2013.

You are posting a response I made to a person who holds a SPOUSE SETTLEMENT VISA and NOT a Tier 2 General visa. Two completely different visa routes and rules!!!
