Hello, i am a nurse on tier 2 visa. Visa entry date is jan 7, 2015 and arrived in the UK on jan 29, 2015. My visa is to expire this dec 31, 2019. I went back to Philippines for maternity leave from aug 13 to march 13, 2016 (217days) and annual leave from march 14 to may 8, 2016 (56days). But came back to UK on april 26, total of 257 days in PH.
My question is regarding the 180 absences in the UK. If not for my maternity leave i could apply for ILR on dec 10,2019. Does the transition arrangement of 180 days in a separate 12 month period apply to me.
Coz if so this will be the break down of my absences
Jan 7, 2015 to dec 10, 2015 -144 days
Dec 11,2015 to dec 16, 2016 - 165 days
Dec 11, 2016 to dec 10, 2017 - 35 days
Dec 11, 2017 to dec 10, 2018 - 31 days
Dec 11, 2018 to dec 10, 2019 - 30 days.
This include trips taken as AL.thanks
