Hi Guys

Here is my time line

Applied Online: 16 April 2019
Ack email received: Same day
Biomatrics done: 19th April
Email notifications: every month on 16th

Today my 6 months over but my status still not updated. Is there any specific time when status is updated.?

Can some one provide me a home office number where I can call to confirm me application status.

Unfortunately, you can not do much. Usually HO is making decisions within 6 months in 8/10 cases. Many members receive their decision just at 6 months or a few days later. Some are issued with complex letters then. Hopefully you shall receive within a few days. Stay positive and wait patiently.

The automated emails have no relevance to the decision. They are simply system auto generated emails. Some dont even get it. So do not relate them to the decision making process.

There is no guarantee that the case will be decided in 6 months. Some applications take longer also.

You must wait to hear back from HO. Unfortunately, you can not do much about it.

If you have not received any complex letter or any other letter, which means you'll receive your decision soon. In my case they have sent the complex letter one week before the 6months. So hope for the good news soon

Because if you bother to search the forum, you see we have to repeat the same thing over and over again here. You must wait to hear back. There is no specific timeframe. Every application is decided on its own merit and Tier 1E applications often are subject to a lot of scrutiny.

@manu_1221 I didn't received any letter from home office yet. I hope so I receive my decision letter soon.

My status is same with my existing BRP and my current visa will be expire on 21 December.
I want to ask that if home office grant the visa , they change working rights straightway or it can be remain same even you are granted visa and change later when you get your new BRP.?

Because I observe on this forum, many people confirmed their approval date and status change date is same.

Your status will change once your ILR is approved. Since your current BRP is valid, you will be able to check when it happens.

HI Guys

I need to ask a question. I have one dependent. She is my wife. Her visa expire date is 21 December 2019.
As I can see , some applicants are waiting for their visa more than one year.

if I receive my ILR before 21 Dec or Not, I need to apply her PBS dependent visa.
Her 5 years will be completed next years in May 2020 but she came to UK on 24 June 2015 and Her visa issue date was 28 May.

So Can she apply ILR in May 2020, even if I don't receive my ILR by that time. If yes, then when she can apply ILR.

Please advise me .

I need to ask some more information. I applied T1E ILR with my business partner as a team.

My business partner informed me that he got a very good job offer. But he is waiting for ILR before he accept that offer. but if ILR is delayed for long period, he will accept that Job and vary his application with Tier 2 General because he can not lose this job opportunity. Once he receive Tier 2 visa, he will reapply for ILR immediately because you can count your entrepreneur period with Tier 2 General ILR .

Please advise me can he do this and if yes, then will it affect my ILR application.

Today I called Home Office and said I applied on 16 April and I didn't hear back anything from Home
office yet. They said there were some bank holidays between your timeline. Give an other week then call us
again...

My mother was ill and I sent a letter to HO explaining it with evidence.

Today I got an below email from HO.

Thank you for your request for an update on your Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) application.

I can confirm that your application is currently under consideration.

I note your circumstances however unfortunately we are currently unable to provide a definite timeframe for a decision being made.

The agreed service standard for ILR applications is 6 months; however cases may not be able to be completed within this timeframe for a number of reasons. In your case, you are required to attend an interview. You will be contacted in due course with the time and date of your interview.

Once your interview has been conducted, your application will be considered against the Immigration Rules, not only in terms of meeting set criteria, but also on a balance of probability to assess credibility in order to make a robust decision.

Upon completion of these processes we will endeavour to finalise consideration of your application and dispatch the decision notice promptly, subject to any further unforeseen issues.

If there is an urgent need to travel there is the option to withdraw the application via the following link on our website https://www.gov.uk/visa-documents-returned

Please accept our apologies for the delay.

I was never interviewed before and I have proper business.
I also have a subsidiary company.

Can any body share me any information or link, at ILR stage, what questions will be ?

And also I notice, who are interviewed at this stage, are waiting their decisions for long time.
I am also offered a job and vary my application with T2 General and get my ILR through it.

Please advise me.

Hi Adiltier1,

Sorry to hear about the delay. It is better to vary your application but I think some one from HO will contact you shortly to agree on interview. I would suggest prepare for it and hope for the best. Once your interview is done you can chase them. Even if you vary now it will take some time for you to prepare and they might contact you before that.

What was your visa category 50k or 200k

Do u have VO or proper office

How many months business bank statements you submitted?

Employees still working?

Hi adiltier1

Really sorry to hear about your mother's health, prayer for her to get well soon.

In regards to the email you sent to UKVI, which email address did you used can you please share that would be helpful.

Also for your Interview, I can suggest if you have a proper business and Employees are working then go for the Interview otherwise vary the application on time before you received the call from UKVI for an interview.

Wow So sorry about your mother’s health. If you are running your business as normal, I see no reason why there should be a problem at the interview. Even if you don’t have employees currently but have fulfilled the job creation requirements, there should not be a problem.

However, think carefully about this present circumstance and make the decision you think is right for you. All the best.

I am sure the people who did the extensions are reviewing ILR applications.

I will suggest whoever waiting for ILR should expect this to happen.

sometimes these interviews are better but as we all can see HO is conducting interviews but after that still people are waiting for over a year or so

be prepared and be ready to grill HO when they come to interview simple is that.

@emirates it was £50k. I have proper office in business unit. My case was T1E Team. We both partner are running this business. Both employees are still working and we sent bank letter. I have one more company which is a subsidiary of first company.

@manu_1221 I posted, didn't send any email.

I have a good running business but the reason I am worried and thinking to vary application , only because
of uncertain time, after interview , no one anticipate the decision time.

Parent company is not as good as subsidiary. because last few months Parent company had no good business. so we rely on subsidiary and employees also look after subsidiary operations.

So My question is, can we tell to HO team in interview about all businesses.?
is it compulsory to show only main company business activity or we can show any business activity of any business. ?

And my 2nd question, HO team will ask about investment questions again or only business activity at ILR stage. Because we already proofed our investment at initial stage.

If someone share a link or information who was interviewed at ILR stage. what questions they asked.

There are many threads on the forum from extension times. The questions will be similar at ILR stage also.
