Hello valuable forum members and moderators,
I have several questions and have numbered them for the ease of understanding. I would be grateful if you could answer the questions please:

1) Here is my timeline:
Initial entry visa granted on 21-11-2014.
I entered in UK on 27/12/2014. Extension visa (granted in 2018) valid till 20/06/2020.
I am planning to apply for ILR on 23/10/2019. Is this the date when I should file application or pay the fees?

2) I passed Life in UK test on March 2015. Is it still valid and can I use it now for ILR

3) I sat in IELTS before the application of Entry Clearance 2014. Do I need to sit in English Test again before applying for ILR?

4) Do I need to show the maintenance funds again (3 months balance in last 3 months personal bank statement) before application?

5) My daughter was below 18 at the time of application (2/01/2018) of Tier 1 Entrepreneur Ext Dependent. Her BRP is valid till 20/06/2020. She is full time studying in a University in Birmingham. What documents do we need to provide in support of her application?

6) What is best: Apply my daughters ILR along with mine or wait till I get mine and apply hers before her BRP card runs out on 20/06/2020?

7) My wife Entry Clearance was granted on 05/12/2014, but she entered in UK on 20/06/2015 (just about 2 weeks above from 6 months absent rule). Her BRP is valid till 20/06/2020. What should be the date of her ILR application?

Thank you very much for your replies in advance!

You can apply online no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the initial visa issue date.
2) I passed Life in UK test on March 2015. Is it still valid and can I use it now for ILR
LIUK doesn't expire.
3) I sat in IELTS before the application of Entry Clearance 2014. Do I need to sit in English Test again before applying for ILR?
Is it at level B1 and on the current HO approved test and test provider list?
4) Do I need to show the maintenance funds again (3 months balance in last 3 months personal bank statement) before application?
There is no maintenance fund requirement for ILR.
5) My daughter was below 18 at the time of application (2/01/2018) of Tier 1 Entrepreneur Ext Dependent. Her BRP is valid till 20/06/2020. She is full time studying in a University in Birmingham. What documents do we need to provide in support of her application?
Evidence to prove she is not leading an independent life. The guidance notes explain what HO expect to see. What date was her initial entry clearance visa issued?
6) What is best: Apply my daughters ILR along with mine or wait till I get mine and apply hers before her BRP card runs out on 20/06/2020?
What date was your daughters initial visa issued? She won't qualify for ILR until your spouse does.
7) My wife Entry Clearance was granted on 05/12/2014, but she entered in UK on 20/06/2015 (just about 2 weeks above from 6 months absent rule). Her BRP is valid till 20/06/2020. What should be the date of her ILR application?
Date of initial visa granted. Some members have had success.

Thanks you very much for your reply CR001.
Here is further clarification as sought by yourself:

3) I sat in IELTS before the application of Entry Clearance 2014. Do I need to sit in English Test again before applying for ILR?

Is it at level B1 and on the current HO approved test and test provider list?

I had given the test in India in 2014 and the test was organised by British Council in New Delhi India and I had band 5 in the test. I used this IELTS test certificate for my Entry Clearance in 2014. Is there any expiry date of English test?

Hi all,
I have the following questions and would be greatful if somebody can answer them:
Question 1:
I am just filing the SET (O) application for ILR for Tier 1 Entrepreneur Application.
What will be my date of application from following:
a) The day I started to fill the online application
b) The day I pay the fee online
c) the day of appointment?

Question 2:
What is the current waiting time with Sopra Steria to get an appointment for Biometrics?

Question 3:
Can I upload the supporting documents myself OR I will have to use Sopra Steria services only for uploading the supporting documents?

Thanks

1. Date if application is the date you submit and pay online.

2. It varied depending on the service you choose and pay for and where you are located in the UK.

3. Either. Sopra charge for scanning and often can kiss documents.

Hi there,
I am just filling up SET(O) Application based on Tier 1 Entrepreneur 200K via.
I am confused with the following question:

"When did you first enter the UK? (Required) This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started"

Which date it should be: The date of issue of my visa OR the date I first entered in the UK on T1 visa?

Thanks

How many times do we have to ask you to stick to your own post and do NOT start a new post ??!!!!
The date is the date you arrived in the UK

Hi all,
I have am just about to upload the documents. The website says, the resolution should be 150-300dpi.
I have scanned the documents in 100dpi. Its a big job to re-scan all the paperwork again.

What you guys suggest: should I rescan them at 150dpi or just upload the documents on 100dpi?
Thanks

Hello all,

Just a very quick question:

I have filled my Tier 1 Entrepreneur ILR application and have uploaded all the documents. I have my bio-metrics appointment with Sopra Steria on 11/11/2019. On my appointment:-

1) Do I need to take all the documents for verification for my appointment with Sopra Steria?
2) Do I need to download and print out the application to take with me?
3) Will they be keeping my passport and BRP at the time of my appointment?

regards

1. It’s advisable to take documents in case there is a problem with the scans you have uploaded urself.
2. NO
3. No documents are kept once the appointment is complete
