1. Unlikely. You lose your fees usually. Why don't you simply apply later if you still have enough visa validity left.

2. No issue.

Dear Zimba, CR001, Senior Members,

I have managed to get foreseeable future included in the letter.

However below line has been added both in employment letter and absence letter as this is company standard

While this information is given in good faith and is, to the best of our knowledge, accurate, we cannot accept liability for any decision or action you may take in connection with it.

Will this statement cause any problem, can you kindly advice?

ILR Application Query

Post by kumar84 » Mon Apr 06, 2020 4:16 pm

Thanks Zimba.

I have started filling in my application and plan to submit it by end of this month.

Can you advice if below are correct :

Q What is the ownership status of your home?
A I rent ( as its a Shared Accommodation and pay it monthly)

Country details:
Country you lived in from and To Date:

I have lived in my birth country since birth, however I have been in the UK for 2 years(2011 and 2012) on Tier 2 ICT and 5 months on Business VIsa (2014).

When I filled this section I didn't split the dates and ignored the above visits. I simply put my Date of Birth to my landing date (June 2015) this application is based

English Requirement
Q : How did you get your result?

A : Certificate ( I have received the certificate from Trinity)

Q: Do you have any Home Office reference numbers?
A. No

Fiance Requirements:
Q: Is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people?
A: No.
Even though I hold a joint account ( which I will use later for my Dependent ILR), the Salary account I am using for this application is sole account.

For Documents:
Q. All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK

A.
Passport 1: Never used for travel and is cancelled. I will scan and upload personal information details page only .
Passport 2: Used for travel and has visas. I will scan all the pages of passport and upload.
Passport 3: Used for travel and contains my current visa. I will scan all the pages and upload.

Q. 'Evidence of Mr xxxx's immigration status in the UK'
A. I can provide BRP card.

The Reference and Absence letters from my company are dated April 3rd. Am I correct in saying these letters are valid only for 28 days (i.e till this Month end).

I plan to get go for priority appointment and if this is enabled only in May 2020 I will be required to have these reissued?

I understand that I could travel first and then apply for ILR however I am keen in getting ILR before I travel to get my family back to the UK.

Once I have submitted and paid the application fees can I cancel the application/appointmenr before attending the Biometric if I happen to travel outside UK? Will I get a refund of fees?

If you fly out the UK or cancel the appointment, your application will be withdrawn. Make that decision before submitting !

Thanks Zimba.

CR001 did help saying its unlikely to get a refund if I travel outside of the UK, but if I cancel it before I travel will the amount be refunded.

Even if the application stand withdrawn, resubmitting with new set of employer letter should not impact the application right?

I will have to travel Mid May , hopefully if the superpriority opens up and I manage to get an appointment then I am fine or else will have to bring my family and then reapply.

Can you kindly help with other questions as well please?

While both examine to the same standard i.e. CEFR Level B1, Since the exam providers are different the certificate issued are worded differently.
As per what you wrote above for TCL, you have taken the correct exam.

Thanks. Feel a bit relieved.

I was planning to book for B1 Level exam for my dependent from India thats when I came across IELTS and see even though they are at same level the pattern of exam is different.

Does anyone given Trinity Exam B1 Level from Ahmedabad India? Can you share how to book it?

I tried reaching Ph. +91 22 66225454 / 66225402 (https://www.trinitycollege.com/local-tr ... -locations) but no one is picking up. even no reply to the email.

ILR Application Query

Post by kumar84 » Tue Oct 06, 2020 8:23 pm

Dears,

My ILR application has been submitted SET(0) last week and appointment booked at Mark Lane Lounge on 15 October. I have been charged 2408.20 , however on the official website it says £2389.00, any idea why I am charged extra.

They have charged £189.00 for appointment separately.

After submission of the application I have not received a copy of the application submited? Is it possible to get a copy of the application?

In the UKVCAS site when I login it says I should have received a checklist with mandatory and additional documents which I have not received

In the 'Documents Upload' I only 'Proof of Application' as mandatory , under optional section I see rest.
Finances > Upload last month Bank statment
Sponors/Employment > Upload foresable future, Absence letter, Payslip
Others > LIUK, B1 level certificate, Old Passport

Is this correct? Kindly advice.

Thanks,
Kumar

£19-30 extra biometric enrollment fee.
They have charged £189.00 for appointment separately.
That is a ukcvas charge.

You should ha r printed it or saved before submitting.
In the UKVCAS site when I login it says I should have received a checklist with mandatory and additional documents which I have not received
It would have been at the end of the application process.
In the 'Documents Upload' I only 'Proof of Application' as mandatory , under optional section I see rest.

Thanks very much CR001.
For below both I can upload Current BRP Card
'Current Biometric Residence Permit for xxx' &
'Evidence of xxx's immigration status in the UK'
Under category :
Other
Residence in the UK

Is this okay?

Also for consent (under Mandatory document) I have signed only first page as the bank account I am providing is sole account and no 3rd party sponor is applicable to me.

Thanks,
Kumar

Correct. Just upload BRP once. It will satisfy both requirements.

Correct RE consent form.

Thanks for your prompt response CULLINAN.

Does category for BRP matter or in that case any other documents?

I have put Employment letter, Absensce letter, Pay slip and Bank statements under Sponsors/EMployment category instead of putting pay slip and statement under Finances category

Thanks,
Kumar

ILR Dependent Query

Post by kumar84 » Mon Oct 26, 2020 12:47 pm

Dear CULLINAN, CR001 , Members,

I have submitted my ILR application last week and planning to submit my dependents (wife and 2 children) by Mid November/December

Wife and mine VIsa was reissued in Nov 2017.
1st Child visa was issued Sep 2018
2nd Child VIsa yet to be issued.

Wife was away during below dates :
21-Jan-2018 to 12-Oct-2018
04-Jul-2019 to 25-Sep-2020

Is my understanding correct:
1. my wife's visa was issued before Jan 2018, 180 days absence is not applicable
2. 180 days rule does not apply for children ?
3. Will have to provide cohabitation document for last 2 years. (i,e : Dec 2017 to Dec 2020).

As she was away most of the time, can I use below documents as proof :
i. Birth certificate of our 2 children
ii. My travel Itinerary when I went to visit them twice.
iii. Travel Itinerary that I accompanied them to home country
iv. I can provide documents documents council tax/water bill for 2017

Thanks,
Kumar
For 2 children, Birth certificate is sufficient ?

ILR Dependent Query & Returning of BRP

Post by kumar84 » Fri Nov 13, 2020 4:56 pm

Hello All,

I have now received my ILR BRP card and I understand I need to sent it back. Thanks all in the forum for your timely help and advice.

I plan to apply for my dependent visa shortly(Wife and Children) , Will I need my old BRP or will I need the old BRP for another other thing?

Do I need to inform my employer that I have received ILR?

Do I need to provide a cover letter to say why I am returning? Does it need to be a recorded delivery?

Also can some one please advice or guidance on my previous question please?

Thanks,
Kumar
