Hi all...i have a question...i am applying ilr in 2 weeks time...back in july i got a Penalty fare notice from northern rail train company for £20 ,which i paid it in the next 3 days....It was an unfortunate situation where i couldn't buy the weekly pass through the app and the ticket collector wasn't accepting my justification. I was in a rush and so didn't prolong that issue..There is a question in the ILR set O application under the section " Convictions and other penalties " where it says " A Caution, warning,reprimand or other penalty.

The question is "Should I mention this penalty in my ilr application "

The Penalty fare notice contains my name and Dob...

Please advise.Thanks in advance.

Can i do an enhanced DBS check and see if this is recorded under my name?and if it is not recorded can i not mention this??Thanks for your reply raj.

It does not deserve an honourable mention.
Civil matter not a criminal offence.
You should have challenged it later on.

Don’t mention it, it’s not criminal but civil. Moreso you have sorted the penalty.
