Hi everyone,
I came in the UK 10/01/2010, maturity for LR 12/12/2019.
I submitted online application 14/11/2019, paid £3208. Also I filled up online form and said I stayed in this country for 9 years 11 month as I was thinking I will go for in person appointment on 16/12/2019.
Now I downloaded my online application, which showed submission date is 14/11/2019 which is earlier than 28 days, I haven't booked appointment yet.
What shall I do? Should I withdraw my application, if I do so, will I get refund or shall I go to appointment on 16/12/2019, if I go will I be granted LR OR will be refused because of early application,
Need your suggestions please, I'm really worried.

If you book your appointment past your eligibility date, you'll be fine and you'll get ILR as you'll be eligible for ILR on the date of decision.

So better to book your appointment before 45 days limit finishes so in your case book your appointment for 24 December 2019.

Hi, I was in the exact same position as you in August.

The date when you apply in person and give your biometrics is actually your submission date (please ignore others on here who say other wise).

As your maturity date is 12/12/2019. Just book your appointment for anytime after, 16/12/2019 will be fine!

When you submit your biometrics in person, they actually ask ‘are you ready to formally submit’. That means your biometrics and date the application is considered by the Case Officer is after your maturity. So all is fine.

Go and get your visa, I got mine within 24 hours.

They will use the date that is most beneficial to the applicant when calculating the specified continuous period. So as long as you are eligible on the day of the decision
