Hi guys,
I have completed 10 years in Uk, and right now Iβm on EU dependent visa, my question is- is it good to go for indefinite route based on long residency or wait for 5 years under EU and then apply based on that ? What would be the best option financially and immigration wise??
Thank you in advance.

What is your relationship to the EU sponsor?
Is the EU sponsor still in the UK exercising treaty rights?
What is your full UK immigration history including all visa start and expiry dates?

When did you get married?
Is there any point where you had a refusal or gap in visas?
What date did you enter the UK in 2009?

What do you mean by Gap year ?
A gap in expiry date and next visa start date. I did not say "gap year"!!
You have provided a summary without exact dates and full details.

Hi guys,
Please help with my query.
I have legally completed 10 years in Uk, right now on EEA dependent visa.
Question is, shall I go for 10 year route and apply for ILR or shall wait for 5 years to be completed on EEA which is after 3 years and then apply for ILR.
Donβt know which is the best option, please help.
Many thanks in advance

Provide the exact dates. Specially the period between the date of Tier 2 visa expiry (curtailment) and the date your EU card was later issued. EU residence applications do not lead to Section 3C protection so there is possibility of an overstaying gap and hence broken lawful stay

Whichever route gets you ILR earliest.. requires the least amount of documentation.. so you can be free of any restrictions..if any..

It seems you are not getting it. What do you mean better ??!! If you have an overstaying gap, you will NOT be eligible for SET(LR) at all.
