ILR (Set M) application time advice

Hello

My wife is on the second period of FLR. (We applied under the 5-year spouse route). I would like to check the application time for ILR based on the below information:-

She entered the UK on 15th January 2015 under the 6 month marriage visa
After marriage we obtained the first FLR visa on 10th June 2015, which had an expiry date of 10th December 2017
Shortly before it's expiry we applied for the second period of FLR but due to a mistake at the Home Office we only received the 2nd visa in May 2018- the current visa/BRP expires on 6th November 2020

My understanding is that the earliest she can apply for ILR is 28 days prior to the date 5 years after receiving the spouse visa/FLR, which would be 13th May 2020 is this correct? Given the expiry date of the current visa being November 2020, do we have that roughly 6 month time frame to apply for ILR?

Many thanks in advance- please let me know if I've left out anything important

Kind regards

Presumably you mean a Fiance Visa and not a Marriage VISITOR visa.

You can apply no sooner than within 28 days prior to the 5th anniversary of the date of the FLR(M) spouse visa grant date but you must apply at any time before the visa expires.

Thank you, indeed you are correct- fiance visa not marriage visitor visor

Thanks for confirming the dates- this is what I thought

Regarding the English test- this is level B1 am I right? My wife has an English taught masters degree as well as a letter from NARIC confirming English language competence from the second FLR(M) spouse application- can this NARIC letter be used again or would we need to provide up-to-date evidence?

Kind regards

UK NARIC query for ILR (SET M)

Good afternoon

My partner will shortly be eligible to apply for ILR via the SET (M) route. She applied for FLR (M) in 2017 and this was granted in 2018 and for this we provided NARIC documentation to verify a degree taught in English but outside the UK.

Does anyone know if we can use this documentation to support the ILR application? From what I can see, there is no expiry to a NARIC certificate but I am wondering if we should re-apply for the certificate so that it is up to date.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks
