ILR for dependent

Hi,
This is the first time I am posting a question here. I have been living in the UK since August 2010. I was in Tier 2 ICT ( Established Staff) from 2010 till 2017 November. Then I change my company and got a Tier 2 General. The switch happend within the UK. My wife came to the UK in Feb 2013. She was in T2 Dependent ever since. First under ICT and now under General. By August 2020 I am planning to apply for ILR under Long residency. Will my wife be able to apply as well at the same time? She was been in the UK for the last 7 years. Does switching from Tier2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General Dependent reset her clock?
Regards,
Manash

No she cannot. Long residnece ilr does not permit dependents to apply for ilr with you.

No, but she cannot apply for ilr as a PBS dependent if you get ilr based in long residence. She has to switch to FLR M spouse visa and meet the English and financial requirements. This resets her 5 year ilr clock but when she reaches 10 years legal stay, she can then apply for ilr based on long residence if she meets all the requirements.

Can she extend her current PBS dependent? I guess its cheaper than FLR.

No she cannot apply for any application as a PBS Dependent if you can ILR based on long residence. The rules don't allow this and has been the case since April 2014.

Will it reset her 10 year clock in any way?

No!! FLR(M) only resets the 5 year ILR clock.
