Dear Members,

I got my ILR in Nov 2019 with Tier 2 5yrs route and still with the current sponsor and My wife is on PBS dependent and she is about to get eligibility by 17 March 2020 and her Visa is about to expire by 26 March 2020. Please could you guys help me in understand the belwo questions

1. Any dependency from my sponser if I change my job ?
2. If I change my job from the current sponser, will she be able to apply ILR?
3 Does she need any documents/letters such as employee letter, payslips from my Sponser?
4. If she is not able to apply for ILR, can she apply for PBS dependent extension?

I'm very confused as when telephoned to Homeoffice, they said I do need sponser letter as I'm main applicant.

Please help me.

No. the dependent is dependetn on YOU not your last sponsor.

Yes.

What sort of documents do I need to submit for her application if I don't have any job and no funds.
She is working as a Permanent employee at the moment.

Passports, BRP, LIUK, English requirement, 2 years cohabitation evidence in both your names from 3 to 6 different sources, spread evenly for every 3 to 4 months. Possibly marriage cert and evidence of your ILR.

As part of cohabitation proof, should be below documents enough?



1. Council Tax on both names (Can provide for last 4-5 years)
2. Mortgage document on both names (can provide for last 2 years)
3. Water bill on both names(can provide for last 2 years)
4. Driving License from myself(1.5 years) and Provisional Driving License of mywife(1 year)

Please advise me. Others I can provide.

ANY evidence is acceptable, 3 pieces min, covering the last two years
