You give reason while filling online form. There is no format. The Person who signs it is not important

Thanks for confirming.

As shown the period of absence is as below

2015 - 26 Days - excluding weekend and public holidays
2016 - 36 Days - excluding weekend and public holidays
2017 - 28 Days - excluding weekend and public holidays

2018 - 2 Days - excluding weekend and public holidays
2019 - 14 Days - excluding weekend and public holidays

My current leave entitlement is 26 days.
In 2016 and 2017 i took more leaves then entiteled but were fully paid as I had extra working hours.

Can you please confirm what should i mention for those absences as reasons. Is 'Annual Holiday and extra hour time off OK'.

Please suggest as this is over 30 day period.

T2G to ILR - Application Help

Post by Dilliwalah » Tue Jan 21, 2020 11:04 am

Hello Good People..

You are doing great service to humanity. I wish the best for you.

1st leave - May 2010 to Feb 2015 - T2 ICT - Date entry to UK Jun 2010
T2 ICT to T2G switch done in UK. Change of Employer
2nd leave - Mar 2015 - Mar 2020 - T2 General - Done in UK

I will be applying ILR soon Feb 2020 (28 days before 5 year period is over) under T2G category.

My questions

1. I will submit my application on 4th Feb (28 Days before 2 March) online under super priority. My last salary will be credited on 25 Jan. My bank is saying they do not do stamped bank statements in branch which means i have to wait till 9th Feb when my statement will be released. Has anyone faced same issue?

2. My wife joined me in Oct 2015 she is not eligible for ILR till Oct 2020. She will get PBS dependent status till then. What should I mention in my application for her? Should I submit a separate PBS dependent application for her after i am granted my ILR?

3. Do i need to show co-habilitation documents for 2 years in PBS dependent application and also in my ILR?

Thanks for your support.

Regards

Use online statement. Everything is online now

She applies for an extension separately
3. Do i need to show co-habilitation documents for 2 years in PBS dependent application and also in my ILR?
That is when she wants to apply for extension/ILR

Dear members
My hr are only giving letter for leaves i have applied for on the tool. This leaves a gap of 18 days for which i was out of country and did not apply leave. My current manager is happy to sign for 8 days only for which i was under him. What can i do about remaining 10 days?

Shall i just submit what letter they give me?

Has anyone else faced similar issue?

The leaves were part of extra time and toil. Which was agreed with my line manager. So that time off was not logged in hr tool.

That manager left last year. Leaves in question are from 2017.

Ok thanks will do as they are only 8 leaves do you think it will impact my application. I was paid full time during them anyway?

Also is it mandatory to do a covering letter or just because of this i need to do one.

Thanks for you support

Yes you need the letter to explain this. Otherwise your employer better issue a letter that says all your absences were approved by them without mentioning dates

Some progress!

I have received a letter from employer stating all leaves are authorised by them.
They have also stamped the list of leaves even if they were not on the HR tool.

Only thing is they have mentioned that they give only 26 days of paid leaves per year. The list has more than that in some years but mentions they were approved by employer.

Can you please confirm this will not be an issue and let me know your thoughts?? :?:

Thanks for the help Zimba..

They have only given 1 letter to cover employment confirmation and absence. I think this should not be any issue.

Should i still include a cover letter from my side alongwith the application?

Also my Tier2G issue date was 19-2-2015 but my employment formally started on 3-2-2015.

Can i submit application now based on T2G issue date or wait for 4-2-2020 (2-2-2020(expiry date) minus 28 days)?

ILR is based on visa issue date. The expiry date is irrelevant

The is no such thing available as it is a personal thing depending on application. Cover letter is only included when you need to provide extra explanation. It is not necessary
