Hello All,

I would like to apply for ILR combining my Tier 2 Work Visa and Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa. Details below.

I am currently on a Tier 2 Work Visa valid from 30-06-2017 to 12-06-2022. (2 Year 6 months completed)

Prior to that I was on a Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa from 31-07-2014 to 18-07-2017. (3 Years completed)

I have passed my Life in the UK test.

I have searched everywhere but am unable to find the documents I need to provide to apply for ILR combining these routes.

1) Could you please let me know what documents I need to provided for the time I am on my Tier 2 visa and my Tier 1 visa?

2) Also how long is the processing time for such as application?

3) Has anyone had any issues applying through this route?

Thank you in advance,
Fonzo

My humble opinion:

I doubt if you can combine the two visa categories together to qualify for ILR. You can only combine different visa categories if the total number of years is at least 10 years to qualify for ILR on the basis of long residence.

I stand to be corrected.

You are wrong in this instance. Tier 1 can be combined with current tier 2 time to make up 5 years for ilr.

You are applying for ilr based on tier 2 and must submit documents the checklist states based on this.

Nothing more.
