Start Date (visa category) for 10-Yr Long Residence Qualifying Period

Hi Experts,

I first entered UK on 16-Feb-2010 on a Business Visa for 3 weeks. I later re-entered UK in the same year on a T2 ICT visa on 23-May-2010 and have had continuous extensions with the same employer since then from within UK.

Assuming I meet all other criteria for the 10-yr Long Residence ILR this year, what would be considered as my start date for the qualifying 10 year period? Can I consider the entry point on Business Visa in Feb-2010 as the start point or is that an invalid visa category for calculating the qualifying period?

Thanks

16 February 2010.

All visas count for long residence ilr, counted from date of entry to the UK.
