Urgent: Missing previous passport

Hi all,

We are currently filling an application for my wife for her ILR as a partner of a British Citizen and have discovered that her previous passport is missing. She received her last leave to remain on Passport A and 5 months later went back to Hong Kong to renew the passport and was issued Passport B.

We've now discovered Passport A is missing and have a week to submit her application. Is this going to jeopradise her application? Are they other documents we can send in its place?

She has been in the UK for the previous 18 years for which we have passports for 2001-2009 and late 2017-present. We have a photo/scan of the photopage of the missing passport if that helps...

Thanks

Only the scan is needed to be uploaded. It should not be an issue

Thanks for your reply. Is this definitely the case as a result of the new process? I know most evidence can be uploaded as digital copies but on the supporting evidence it states we need originals of all passports...

We are formally submitting the application later in the week so this is based on the supporting info requested as part of the application process wizard.

NO original are submitted. Old passports are not needed
