Hi All,

Could you please share your view on requirement for employer letter on below situation.

Visa stamped on passport on 16/12/2014

Enter UK on 10/03/2015

And Recently visa got extension for 16/12/2020.

Planning for ILR submission on march 2020

As I got recently visa extended on 24/02/19, do I still need employer letter detail mentioning about SOC code, salary and foreseeable future requirement on letter. I am facing difficulty to get customised letter.

Tier -2 V34 page 93 says:-

Tier 2 (General), Tier 2 (Minister of Religion), Tier 2 (Sportsperson) and (Intra-company transfer)
To grant indefinite leave to remain in any of these categories, the employer must confirm in writing, on company headed paper, that they still need the applicant to be employed in the job in question for the foreseeable future.
If the migrant has leave as Tier 2 (General) or Tier 2 (Sportsperson), the sponsor must also confirm the gross annual salary paid and that this salary will continue to be paid for the foreseeable future.

As stated above statement in IF.. does it mean that if I have current leave, does simple generic employer letter work as explain below to get ILR?

This is to certify that xxxxxx(Associate ID - xxx ) is working with xxxxxxx,
xxxx since March 01, 2011 and has been deputed to xxxxxxxxxxxxx since April
20, 2014. He is designated as Team Lead with annual salary of xxxxxx.

Please share your view if my ILR will be accepted with generic letter.

I believe the letter must explicitly state that you will be required by the employer for a foreseeable future.
